March 2013 Medical Technologist Licensure Examination results released in three (3) working days

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that 641 out of 915 passed the Medical Technologist Licensure Examination given by the Board of Medical Technology in the cities of Manila, Baguio and Cebu this March 2013.

The members of the Board of Medical Technology who gave the licensure examination are Dr. Marietta C. Baccay, Chairman; Ms. Marilyn R. Atienza and Ms. Marian M. Tantingco, Members.

The results were released in three (3) working days from the last day of examination.

Registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be on April 3 and 4, 2013. Those who will register are required to bring the following: duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal, current Community Tax Certificate (cedula), 2 pieces passport size picture (colored with white background and complete name tag), 1 piece 1” x 1” picture (colored with white background and complete name tag), 2 sets of metered documentary stamps and 1 short brown envelope with name and profession and to pay the Initial Registration Fee of P600 and Annual Registration Fee of P450 for 2013-2016. Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.

Those who failed to pass the board examination for Medical Technology but had obtained a general rating of at least 70% can register as Medical Laboratory Technician.

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that 77 out of 267 passed the Master Plumber Licensure Examination given by the Board for Master Plumbers in Manila this February 2013.

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that 26 out of 43 passed the CHIEF MARINE ENGINEER OFFICERS LICENSURE EXAMINATION, 194 out of 332 passed the SECOND MARINE ENGINEER OFFICERS LICENSURE EXAMINATION and 318 out of 499 passed the OFFICER-IN-CHARGE OF AN ENGINEERING WATCH LICENSURE EXAMINATION given by the Board for Marine Engineer Officers in Manila and Iloilo this February 2013.

The members of the Board for Marine Engineer Officers are Engr. Miguel O. Marasigan, Officer-in-Charge; Engr. Victoriano A. Alojado, Engr. Ferdinand R. Pascua and Engr. Eldefonso G. Uba, Members.

The results were released after three (3) working days from the last day of examinations.

285 Physical Therapists and 32 Occupational Therapists pass the February 2013 Physical Therapist/Occupational Therapist Licensure Exam

The Professional Regulation Commission announces that 285 physical therapy examinees out of 579, and 32 occupational therapy examinees out of 64, passed the Physical / Occupational Therapy licensure examination given by the Board of Physical and Occupational Therapy on February 3 and 4, 2013 simultaneously in the cities of Manila and Cebu.

University of Santo Tomas graduate, Mary Kathleen Sabile Samarista, topped the physical therapy board with a general average rating of 86.95% followed closely by Barbara Jane Labao Auson from the University of Perpetual Help System-Laguna (86.60%) and Hyacinth Rosario Fernandez Callao from the Silliman University (85.65%).

According to the Board of Physical and Occupational Therapy, the exam results were released in two working days after the last day of the examination.

Registration of passers for the issuance of Professional Identification Cards (PIC’s) and Certificate of Registration will be on February 21 and 22, 2013.
